Mission Accomplished Tire & Auto is proud to support Cell Phones for Soldiers®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping active-duty military members and veterans stay connected with their loved ones. As an official drop-off location, we invite customers and community members throughout Southern Illinois to donate gently used cell phones and mobile devices during normal business hours at any of our New Baden, Belleville, or O'Fallon locations. Donated devices are refurbished or responsibly recycled, with proceeds helping provide communication services and emergency assistance to those who have served our country.
Cell Phones for Soldiers was founded in 2004 by siblings Robbie and Brittany Bergquist of Norwell, Massachusetts. Inspired by the financial burden many military families faced when communicating with loved ones deployed overseas, they created a nationwide cell phone recycling program that has grown into one of America's most respected military support charities.
Today, the organization provides communication services and emergency assistance to active-duty military members and veterans through programs including Minutes That Matter and Helping Heroes Home. These initiatives help military families stay connected while also providing emergency financial assistance for essential needs such as housing, transportation, communication services, and other unexpected hardships.
Every donated phone helps make a difference. Devices from virtually all manufacturers and wireless carriers are accepted, whether they're working, damaged, or no longer in use. Phones are either refurbished for reuse or responsibly recycled, helping fund the organization's ongoing mission while keeping electronic waste out of landfills.
